Code de parrainage
HAQQ has three separate code mechanisms, and they are easy to confuse because the marketing copy uses the word “referral” for all of them. They work differently, they reward differently, and only one of them lives inside the product.
| Mechanism | Who it is for | What it is worth |
|---|---|---|
| Referral credits | Any firm inviting another firm | Both sides earn credits |
| Partner promo code | Members of a partner programme | Set by the partnership: free months or a percentage off |
| Student code | Students and academic staff | 60 credits a month for $15 |
Referral credits
The in-product referral programme is two-sided and denominated in credits: you and the firm you invite both earn them. It shipped on 30 June 2026 as part of the release that also introduced credit top-ups, per-message metering and per-workspace quotas.
Credits earned this way behave like any other credit balance in the workspace pool, so a referral reward is shared across seats rather than attached to the person who made the introduction.
Credits and usage explains how the pool works and what spends it.
Where to find your code
Your referral code is personal to you, and the same panel shows up in three places: the Referral view of your workspace account area, the Referral section of the chat app's settings, and Refer a friend in the mobile settings sheet. It is available to every member on every kind of workspace: a per-user feature, not an admin one.
The panel shows the code in large monospaced type, with Copy beside it and a Share action that opens your device's share sheet with an invite message ready to send, or copies that message to the clipboard on a desktop browser that has no share sheet. The invite message carries your code and a signup link with the code already appended, so a friend who opens the link arrives with the field filled in. If your account does not have a code yet, the panel says so rather than showing an empty box.
Where the invitee enters it
In exactly one place: the Referral code field on the profile-setup step your invitee completes after signing up, just above the question about whether they are a legal professional. The field checks the code as they type and, when it is valid, locks with a green confirmation naming the bonus credits it carries, with a pencil beside it to edit again.
Checkout does not apply it. Neither does signup. Profile setup is the only moment the code counts. A code that is unknown, or that is your invitee's own, is refused when they finish that step: the whole setup fails, the server's reason appears next to the field, and they are sent back to the first step to fix or clear it before any profile is created.
Both sides earn credits. The amounts are read from the product rather than fixed, so the figure in the panel and the one your invitee sees confirmed under the field both show the current number. This page deliberately does not print one.
Partner promo codes
Partner programmes issue a single shared code rather than a per-user one. A code is redeemed in one of two ways: by arriving on the signup page with the code already in the URL (chat.haqq.ai/?code=YOURCODE), or by typing it at checkout. Both paths are documented on the partnership pages themselves.
Two partner codes are live today.
| Code | Partner | Offer | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| STATIONF | Station F | 3 free months on the AI plan | Station F resident startups only, one redemption per startup, eFirm plans excluded, no card required to start |
| KOUNCEL20 | Kouncel | 20% off paid tiers | Applied at signup with the code |
A partner code is not a referral code. Partner codes are fixed strings shared with a whole community. They do not earn the person who shares them anything, and they are not generated per user.
Student codes
Students and academic staff get a per-person code automatically. Sign up for a free HAQQ account with your university email (that address is the verification), and the code is emailed to you; apply it at checkout for the student bundle, 60 credits a month for $15.
The Students programme carries the full terms.
The Startup Program referral offer
The Startup Program advertises its own referral arrangement, and HAQQ currently describes it two incompatible ways in live production copy:
- The startup programme page says a successful referral earns the referrer an extra free month, with no cap, and gives the referred startup its first month free.
- The offer cards on the home and pricing pages, and the answer HAQQ’s own support agent gives, both say 20% credit for every successful referral.
Both cannot be right, and the two audiences overlap: a founder is sent from the pricing page to the startup page and reads a different promise on arrival. This page will state the reward once the business decides which one it is.
Which one applies to you
- You are an existing firm inviting another firm: referral credits.
- You came from a partner community. Use their promo code.
- Students and academic staff use the emailed discount code.
- You are in the Startup Program: see Startup, and treat the reward as unconfirmed until the note above is resolved.
